Jordan, from Marple Bridge started racing at the age of 11 in minimotos. He rode for the Lucky Devils team based in Colne, Lancashire for two years. He raced minibikes and enjoyed considerable success, culminating with wins in the European Championships in Spain 2005
From minimotos Jordan moved up to 80cc Formula and 80cc GP bikes in June 2005. Although missing the 3 opening rounds of the JRA (Junior Racing Association) he took runner-up spot that year on a Formula 80cc bike.
For 2006 Jordan was invited to ride alongside James Folkard in the JDF team, competing in the Aprilia 125 Superteen Challenge. He also entered a few Formula 125 rounds in the ACU MotoStar Series. His improvement that year saw him go form qualifying mid twenties in the opening round at Brands Hatch to qualifying in the top 5 in the last round. He also took 3rd place in the MotoStar Championship round at Silverstone. The highlight of the season was winning the Formula 125 Lord of Lydden Championship in October 2006.
It was always Jordans dream to race GPs and from 2007 Jordan took delivery of a new GP125 bike to initially compete in the MotoStar 125 GP Class. However at Croft in May he sustained a broken wrist which meant he would miss the next two rounds which were almost half the races. Also to miss which would be 3 rounds of a 7 round championship would spell disaster for a title challenge in a 7 round Championship.
They say "every cloud has a silver lining" and that is what happened - Gary Dawson, Principle and Team Manager for Replicast UK Racing had seen Jordan and offered him the chance to ride for Replicast in the British GP 125 Championship. This was a fantastic opportunity. Jordan was to ride his own bike looked after by Richard 'Trik' Slinn they became good friends and Jordan is grateful for his time with Gary and Trim and the Replicast team. During his learning year at British Championship level Jordan rode with standard equipment with the exception of the last two rounds
For the 2008 season, Jordan signed for Team Colin Appleyard Racing and remained with the team until October, following which Jordan joined Bob Grant Racing. In June 2010 Jordan moved to the Trickbits Racing team and is racing on a Triumph675.
From the 2009 season Jordan made the move up to British Junior Superstock 600 - for more information about this season please visit his News and Events page.
