Bob Grant Racing
Bob Grant Yamaha Racing is run by Scottish multiple champion Bob Grant. Their workshop and shop are based up at Knockhill circuit in Scotland where all the bike prep work is done. I am looking forward to working with Bob - the experience and knowledge I can gain from him will be invaluable. Also acting as my mentor will be Niall Mackenzie, who needs no introduction. Niall is now retired and rode in 500 grand prix, having a best championship result of 4th position and many podiums. He has also won the British Superbike Championship multiple times. Making sure all the paperwork gets done and the catering is done is Vicky, who is Bob's wife, making everything run smoothly.
I had an introduction to the team at the last round of the 09 season at Oulton park. They all seem to be a great bunch of people racing has to be both fun and serious, the atmosphere I feel is good relaxed and very encouraging. I really do feel this season I am in the best position to move forward.
